Klonopin, also known by its generic name clonazepam, is a prescription drug commonly used to treat panic attacks and certain types of seizures. While it can be highly effective in managing these conditions, Klonopin also carries potential negative side effects, as well as, abuse and addiction.
In fact, according to recent studies, around 30.6 million adults use benzodiazepines, where approximately 17% of individuals who use benzodiazepines, like Klonopin, develop a substance abuse disorder.
